# Git Flow

tratto runs the git-flow branching model itself, with the same settings as git-flow AVH, so a repository already set up
with `git flow init` works as it is.

## Initialize

**Repository › Git Flow › Initialize…** sets the production and development branches and the prefixes for features,
releases, hotfixes, support branches, version tags and bugfixes. It creates the development branch when it is missing.

## Start

**Start Feature…**, **Start Release…** and **Start Hotfix…** appear in the Git Flow menu once the repository is
initialized.

## Finish

The menu shows one **Finish …** row for every flow branch in progress. The dialog takes the merge message, whether to
keep the branch, whether to skip the tag, and the remote to push to. The push is never forced and goes all or nothing.
